On Monday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 11, the Peru State women's golf team finished in tenth place at the Evangel Fall Invitational in Springfield Mo., shooting 762 overall as they shot 385 in round one and 377 in round two shooting +97.

The Peru State bowling teams competed in the Midwest Collegiate
On Saturday, October 1, and Sunday, October 2, the Peru State men's and women's bowling teams competed in the Midwest Collegiate in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The men's team finished in 17th place over the weekend while the women's team finished in 27th place.

Peru State hires Renita “Toni” Closner to take over Bobcat softball program
The Peru State athletic department recently announced the hiring of Renita "Toni" Closner to head the Bobcat softball program. Last season the Bobcats went 15-32 overall and 10-26 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.

On Saturday, September 10, the Peru State volleyball team went 1-1 in a tri match against Bethany College and University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas. Peru State defeated Bethany in four sets and they lost in four sets to University of Saint Mary.

Peru State men's and women's Cross Country finish fourth in the Bearcat Open
The Peru State men's and women's cross country team competed in the Bearcat Open hosted by Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo., on Friday, September 2. Both the men's and women's teams finished in fourth in their respective races.

Peru State volleyball shocks No. 21 Grand View in five sets
On Tuesday, August 30, the Peru State volleyball team upset No. 21 Grand View in five sets. The Bobcats improve to 1-3, overall 1-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference on the season while the Vikings fall to 1-4 and 0-1 on the season.

Football is less than 30 days away from the Peru State football team kicking off the season in the Coach "O" era. The Heart of America Athletic Conference has recently announced the Preseason Coaches' Poll for the Heart North and South conferences.

Peru State athletic department hires Nicolas Berry to athletic training staff
Earlier this summer the Peru State athletic department hired Nicolas Berry to join the athletic training staff. Berry is from Turlock, California and has a bachelor's and master's degree from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas.
