Local Peru State Volleyball Player Nabs Second Weekly Award of the Season
OVERLAND PARK, KS - On Monday, November 4, the Heart of America Athletic Conference announced their Players of the Week. Peru State College's Kennedy Miller (Sr., Plattsmouth, Neb.) was named Heart Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week, presented by Molten. This is the second time that Miller has won the award this season.
Miller had a total of 20 blocks averaging 1.67 blocks per set in the Bobcats' three conference games this week, including a win over Culver-Stockton on Tuesday. Kennedy had seven assisted blocks against Park on Friday. Kennedy also added eight kills, ten digs and three aces for the Bobcats over the week.
The Peru State volleyball team is set to take on Graceland today, Tuesday, November 5, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, at 7:00pm.
