Seven Bobcat Baseball Players Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards
PERU, NE - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes on Thursday, May 23.

PERU, NE - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes on Thursday, May 23. The Peru State Baseball team had seven athletes earn the award.
Student-Athletes must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have reached the eligibility requirements and been at their institution for a year to be qualified for the award.
Aiden Worthy (Jr., Humboldt, NE), Blake Denson (Jr., Broken Bow, NE), Brenton Pitt (Jr., Fremont, NE), Bryan Vega (Sr., Cayey, Puerto Rico), Diego Rivera (Jr., Carolina, Puerto Rico), Luis Samayoa (So., Guatemala City, Guatemala) and Xavier Colon (So., Bayamon, Puerto Rico) each earned the award.
