OVERLAND PARK, KS - On Thursday, February 27, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Men's Basketball All- Conference Award winners. Three men's basketball players earned All-Conference Awards.
 
Carlos Hines, a senior from Chicago, Illinois, earned 1st Team All-Conference. Hines' shooting statistics are impressive, with a 41.3% success rate from the field and 39.6% from the three-point line. Not just a scorer, he also contributes significantly on defense, averaging 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and a steal per game. His outstanding performance was highlighted earlier this season when he was honored as the Heart Offensive Player of the Week on January 13th.
 
Devin Tomlinson, a senior from Blue Springs, Missouri, earned 2nd Team All-Conference. Tomlinson has been shooting 47.5% from the field and maintaining a 33.9% accuracy from the three-point line, he averages 13.3 points per game. However, it's not just his scoring ability that makes him stand out; his defensive prowess has been a crucial element of his gameplay. Averaging 6.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, Tomlinson's all-round abilities were recognized on January 6, when he earned the title of Heart Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Aaron Miller, a senior from Queens Village, New York, earned 3rd Team All-Conference. Averaging 5.6 rebounds per game, including 1.8 offensive rebounds, Miller showcases his relentless pursuit on the court. His defensive prowess is further highlighted by accumulating 17 steals and 8 blocks this season, contributing significantly to the team's defense. On the offensive end, Miller is not just a pillar in defense but also a critical scorer for the Bobcats. Averaging 7.9 points per game, he boasts a remarkable field goal percentage of 64.6% and has been effective from beyond the arc, hitting 30% of his three-point attempts.
