KANSAS CITY, MO - The Peru State volleyball squad grabbed two marathon wins in Kansas City over the weekend as Avila University hosted a triangular with the Bobcats & Briar Cliff getting invites.

Peru State 3 - Briar Cliff 2
Raevyn Russel started out the first set with the first two kills for the Bobcats. The Bobcats took a quick 11-5 lead with strong serves from Raevyn Russel and a block from Kennedy Miller and Eden Moore. The Bobcats continued their lead with the help of multiple kills from Hana Deticek and Addison Schneider. Raevyn Russel had the final kill as the Bobcats took set one, 25-15.
 
The Bobcats had a slow start in the second set as they found themselves in a 9-1 deficit. Back-to-back kills from Kalyssa Fox and Raevyn Russel followed by Strong serves from Allie Schneider and Hana Deticek helped the Bobcats close the gap and take a 17-16 lead. The Bobcats continued to push through the set with a kill from Eden Moore winning the set, 25-23.
 
In the third set, Kalyssa Fox started off the Bobcats with a kill followed with an ace by Hana Deticek. Raevyn Russel had six kills throughout the set as the Bobcats pushed to win the set. The Chargers were able to find a way to close the gap the Bobcats had built and win the set 27-25.
 
The Chargers took a quick lead in the fourth set. The Bobcats tried to fight back with Raevyn Russel and Shealie Wiebers having three kills in the set. Kennedy Miller and Raevyn Russel had a big block for the Bobcats as they tried to close the gap. The Chargers won the set 25-9.
 
The Bobcats were determined to win the fifth set, taking a fast 7-2 lead with the help of multiple kills by Shaelie Wiebers and strong serves from Kennedy Miller. Raevyn Russel had four kills in the set to 15, having the final one to win the set 15-9.
 
Raevyn Russel led the Bobcats with 22 kills, 14 digs and three service aces against the Chargers. Kalyssa Fox had eight kills with four digs and three block assists. Addison Schneider had seven kills and five block assists in the match. Shealie Wiebers had six kills and three digs with Kennedy Miller having four kills and five assisted blocks.
 
Allie Schneider had 31 assists, 15 digs and two aces against the Eagles. Sami Chesley had 13 assists and seven digs in the match. Emily Sherman had 17 digs with Ryan white adding seven against the Chargers.

Kalyssa Fox started out the first set for the Bobcats with a kill from Allie Schneider. The Eagles took a small lead quickly. Shealie Wiebers had three kills in the set as the Bobcats tried to take back the lead. The Eagles won the set 25-19.
 
The Bobcats had a rough start in the second set as the Eagles took a 12-5 lead. Kalyssa Fox and Raevyn Russel each had two kills in the set with Addison Schneider and Kalyssa Fox having a big block against the Eagles. Avila won set two, 25-16.
 
In set three, the Bobcats had a commanding start strong serves from Shealie Wiebers having two aces and a kill by Addison Schneider. Three kills from Kennedy Miller and two by Shealie Wiebers and Raevyn Russel helped the Bobcats take a commanding 19-6 lead. Final kills from Eden Moore won set three for the Bobcats, 25-18.
 
Kalyssa Fox and Raevyn Russel had to kills at the beginning of set four. The Bobcats and Eagles went back and forth with Raevyn Russel having six kills in the set. Eden Moore had two kills as the Bobcats continued to push to win the set. The teams were tied at 25-25 as Emily Sherman serves. Raevyn Russel and Kalyssa Fox with the final kills to win the set, 27-25.

Kalyssa Fox started out the fifth set with a kill followed by Serves from Emily Sherman and a kill by Raevyn Russel. Eden Moore had three kills as the Bobcats continued to push through the fifth set. Shealie Wiebers had two kills at the end of the set with Raevyn Russel having the final kill to complete the reverse sweep for the Bobcats, 15-10.
 
Raevyn Russel led the Bobcats with 16 kills, 18 digs and two block assists. Kalyssa Fox had 13 kills, with three digs and two block assists. Shealie Wiebers had 10 kills and 18 digs for the Bobcats with Eden Moore having 7 kills. Addison Schnieder added six kills with Kennedy Miller adding five kills and two aces.
 
Allie Schneider had 34 assists and 19 digs in the match. Sami Chesley had 15 assists and 11 digs against the Eagles. Emily Sherman had 12 digs and four assists with Ryan White adding 12 digs.
