Assault, theft, threats charged in Nemaha County

AUBURN - Cole Lavigne, 33, of Johnson is charged with domestic assault on Feb. 14.
A Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a witness called 911 and told investigators that Lavigne punched a woman who was transported by Johnson Rescue to the Nemaha County Hospital for treatment to lacerations to the back of her head.
In a separate court case, Brandon Monroe, 44, of Auburn is charged with theft on Jan. 27.
A Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office citation says Monroe is suspected of unauthorized use of a vehicle at Pizza Hut.
Also in Nemaha County, 46-year-old Erick Pennington is charged with child abuse on Dec. 16.
A sheriff’s office affidavit says a 13-year-old was hit in the arm by a roll of wrapping paper.
Jordan Armstrong, 35, is charged in Nemaha County with terroristic threats on Jan. 29.
A Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy told the court they are investigating $5,000 damage to a vehicle and say Armstrong threated personal harm and damage to a separate truck belonging to his brother.
