NEBRASKA CITY- The Nebraska City Community Foundation Fund recognized Colin and Teresa Albers as the 2025 philanthropists of the year at its annual banquet on Nov. 6.

A press release says Colin and Teresa embody what it means to invest in people and place. They are longtime supporters and active community leaders. The Foundation Fund commends them for generosity and vision.

Highlights of the year for the Foundation Fund include non-traditional scholarships, Many Books, One Community, Crime Stoppers, mini food pantries and the shared kitchen summit.
