Oregon man charged in Otoe County with intent to distribute marijuana
64 pounds found after K9 sniff
NEBRASKA CITY- Michael Dias, 61, of Cottage Grove, Ore., is charged with intent to distribute marijuana and possession on Sept. 28.
An Otoe County sheriff’s deputy stopped a SUV on Highway 2 and conducted a sniff with a service dog.
The deputy located four large trash bags in the rear cargo area and says they contained 64 pounds of marijuana.
The affidavit says a firearm and 6 grams of cocaine was found in the vehicle during a tow search
A bond of $100,000 was set in county court.
Holly Schenck, 51, of Nebraska City is charged with forgery and possession on Sept. 30.
A Nebraska City police affidavit says a K9 patrol unit was dispatched to Speedee Mart where a counterfeit $100 bill had been used. The affidavit says methamphetamine was found later in the day when Schenck was arrested.
Misty Sedersten, 43, of Tecumseh is charged with possession of methamphetamine on Sept. 25. She was held on a Nebraska State Patrol affidavit.
