Man says meth was purchased in St. Joseph for transport to Falls City

FALLS CITY -- Dustin Bernard, 39, of Falls City was sentenced to 30 months probation for delivery of methamphetamine.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a man told investigators he gave money to Bernard to purchase methamphetamine in St. Joseph, Mo. The affidavit says deputies searched the informant’s  motel room and found methamphetamine.

The sheriff’s office then obtained a warrant to search Bernard’s Falls City residence in December and found a pipe with meth residue.

Penny Bousquet, 59, of Council Bluffs was sentenced to 18 months probation for possession of methamphetamine on Oct. 20.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a deputy made a Highway 75 traffic stop and then Bousquet pulled up and stopped where the other vehicle was pulled over. The affidavit says a pipe with residue was found in her vehicle. At the county jail 3.5 grams of meth was found on her person.

AUBURN - Jennifer Koch, 46, of Auburn was fined $2,500 for possession on Dec. 26.

A Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a rural residence was searched and pipes with meth residue were found.
