Auburn considers penalties for violations of water conservation orders
City to appoint water conservation committee
AUBURN - The Auburn City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 12.
The agenda includes a right-of-way agreement with SEGRA Fiber, a change order for the housing project and a contract with the Civic Community Center Financing Fund for a recreation grant.
Ordinance No. 08-25 is proposed to establish penalties for anyone found in violation of water emergency protocols as defined by the Board of Public Works.
The council will also consider a motion to appoint a water conservation committee.
An ordinance to allow up to four backyard hens is also proposed.
