Sheriff reports double fatality in Highway 75 crash

NEBRASKA CITY - An Auburn man and a 12-year-old boy were killed Thursday night in a traffic accident on Highway 75 south of Nebraska City.

 

 

An Otoe County Sheriff's Office press release says 70-year-old Alvin Sobbing and the boy were in a pickup truck that crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound truck and semi-trailer. Firefighters extinguished a fire in the pickup.

The freight truck driver, a 39-year-old Houston, Texas, man was uninjured.
