NEBRASKA CITY, NE - The Syracuse Rockets flew into Nebraska City for a doubleheader sweep of the Pioneers on Tuesday. The Syracuse ladies grabbed a 48-27 win, while the Rocket guys took off with a 63-37 victory.

In the ladies' contest, Jayden Meyer was the lone player to reach double-figure points, leading the gals in green with 25. Natalee Wemhoff helped out with nine. Tarryn Godsey had a team-best nine points for Nebraska City. The NC ladies are now 1-4, while the Syracuse girls sit at 2-3.

For the guys, Syracuse won comfortably, despite NC hitting more 3-pointers on the night (9-8). Three Rocket players got into double-digits:  Will Janssen with 16 points, Maxwell Parde with 13, and Mason Lintz with ten. Sam Rovetto had 13p for NC, while Caleb Walker was close behind with ten. NC is still looking for that first win at 0-5, while Syracuse remains unbeaten at 5-0.

The Syracuse squads will host Elmwood-Murdock on Thursday, December 19, on B103, with the opener tipping off at six o'clock. Nebraska City has a trip to Jefferson's place that same night.
