NEBRASKA CITY – A $50,000 bond was set in Otoe County Court for a Nebraska City man accused of assaulting police officers on May 9.

Court records say police were dispatched for man in the street threatening to kill someone. A police K9 was dispatched to aid in the arrest of David McConahay, but court records say officers gained control of  him and the K9 was called off.

David McConahay, 29,  was taken into protective custody and felony charges filed later.

 In a separate case, Carlton Pride, 66, of Bellvue, Colo., is charged in Otoe County with possession of Psilocybin on April 24.

Court records say a state trooper made a Highway 2 traffic stop and found controlled substances in a Chevrolet Traverse.
