FALLS CITY – The Richardson County sheriff’s office reports an injury accident after a Ford Mustang left Highway 159 between Falls City and Rulo and rolled multiple times.

 Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 10 p.m. Thursday east of Falls City to the scene, where the driver and three passengers had been ejected.

A press release says the driver, 20-year-old Mason Wurtele of Falls City, a passenger, Kaden Romo of Falls City and two juveniles were not wearing seat belts.

All four occupants received serious injuries. Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad took three occupants to Community Medical Center in Falls City. One occupant was transported by Hiawatha Town & Country Ambulance to Amberwell Hospital in Hiawatha.

The sheriff’s office says all four were in serious but stable condition. All were transported to other medical facilities, one by helicopter.

Assistance at the scene was provided by the Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Hiawatha Town & Country Ambulance, Falls City Rural Fire Department, Sac & Fox Tribal Police Department, and many eyewitnesses.
