K9 Unit involved in Fremont County meth arrests

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports methamphetamine arrests including a pedestrian walking along Highway 2.
A sheriff’s office press release says the county K9 unit stopped to assist the walking woman, who gave them a false name.
The sheriff says Stephanie May McNutt, 37, of Council Bluffs was found to be in possession of about 7 grams of methamphetamine and a small bag of fentanyl.
She is suspected of possession and bringing contraband into a correctional facility. She was held without bond on a parole violation out of Pottawattamie County.
The K9 unit was also involved in the Nov. 26 arrest of 21-year-old Dustin Robinson of Sidney, Iowa.
Robinson is suspected of possession of methamphetamine. He was also held on a warrant out of Pottawattamie County.
