Nebraska City Creative District plans October Artist Walk

NEBRASKA CITY - The new Nebraska City Creative District has scheduled an October Artist Walk that features live music, artist talk and fall farmers market. More than 25 artists have been paired with local businesses to display their works.

Thursday, Oct. 19
KHN Center for the Arts artist talk, 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 20
Live music by Tanner Simrell at Self Expressions Gallery 5 to 7 p.m.
Autumn Soiree at Morton-James Public Library at 6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 21
Artist walk featuring painting, ceramics, fiber, woodcraft, drawing and demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Falls Farmers Market at Veterans Memorial Building 9 a.m. to noon
Paul Siebert at R Carts and Pieceful Dreams from 11 am. to 5 pm.
Sunday, Oct. 22
Paranormal author Cheryl Ann Fletcher for visit and book signing at 2 p.m.
Other events in the city include the 1st annual scarecrow contest at Kimmel Orchard, a Christmas tea at Wildwood Historic Center, cooking class at Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast and living history at Arbor Lodge.
