The severe thunderstorm warning has just been issued for most of River Country -- 

 

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Otoe, Johnson and Pawnee  counties and southwestern Cass County at 7:53 am.

Severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from three miles east of Utica to two miles southeast of Swanton and moving east at 45 mph.

Palmyra, Bennett and Greenwood are included in the warning.
