Richardson County Board approves fingerprint device
Communities for Kids grant may contribute with grant funds
FALLS CITY - The Richardson County Board approved the purchase of a digital fingerprint machine for $25,000 at its meeting Tuesday.
Commissioners said $5,000 of the costs could be donated through grant funds awarded to Falls City Public Schools by Communities for Kids.
The digital finger print machine will assist to expedite a quicker turn around for approval of finger prints for service workers in the community to include day care providers and employees in the medical field.
In other action at Tuesday’s meeting, Brian Kirkendall presented the annual noxious weed report. Commissioners increased the weed superintendent salary to $64,100 in 2023.
