North School expansion proposed in Falls City
Addition to east wing would accommodate preschool classrooms, Sixpence and multipurpose rooms

FALLS CITY - Superintendent Tim Heckenlively says Falls City Public Schools is motivated to expand the current space at North School to meet the district’s immediate early childcare development needs.
Proposals include an addition to the east wing for two additional preschool classrooms, the Sixpence program, therapy rooms, a multipurpose room and additional restrooms.
Heckenlively said having all this under one roof is also one of the main focuses of the Communities for Kids Foundation grant program.
The district is working with architects and consultants at the Wilkins and Lund Co. on this early childhood facility expansion plan.
