VALLEY - The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings for Johnson and Pawnee at 3:31 p.m., Otoe County nine minutes later and Nemaha and Richardson counties at 3:53 p.m.

The Storm Prediction Cente rin Norman,Okla., lists portions of southeast Nebraska and northwest Missouri in the slight risk for severe weather today. Golf ball-sized hail is possible along a cold front.

There is no risk of severe weather indicated for the remainder of the weekend.
