Spike strips used to end pursuit
Woman held on Otoe County warrant
PLATTSMOUTH - The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports the use of spike strips in the arrest of a Papillion woman after a pursuit.
Deputies were dispatched on the report of a woman behaving erratically near an antique mall along Highway 63 and attempted to stop her Jeep as it approached Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol deployed spike strips to end the pursuit and take Kayla Trofholz into custody.
Trofholz is suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
An arrest warrant was issued for Trofholz in Otoe County in December after she failed to appear for preliminary hearing on a possession charge.
