Icy intersection blamed for Tuesday morning crash
Car slides into intersection of highways 50 and 34
WEEPING WATER – An icy intersection is blamed for a collision Tuesday morning in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports that Honda CR-V driven by 31-year-old Deanna Wehrli of Lincoln slid on ice through the intersection of highways 34 and 50. The Honda slid into the path of a Ford Explorer driven by 35-year-old Rachel Meeske of Weeping Water.
Airbags were deployed in both vehicles, but neither driver was transported to a hospital.
