Band taking donations for Christmas Carol Grams Dec. 9-10

NEBRASKA CITY - Musicians from Nebraska City High School and the Southeast Community Band played  at the community tree lighting organized by Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce to conclude shop small Saturday.

 

The event featured chili and hot chocolate, ornaments for the first 100 families and A letters to Santa station. Santa Claus arrived on a Nebraska City fire engine and got help from some magic dust and County Commissioner Rick Freshmen to light the tree.

The Nebraska City High School Band is still in the Christmas spirit. They are taking orders for Christmas Carol Grams Dec. 9-10.

Six to eight band members will deliver a pack of freshly made cinnamon rolls by Chris’s Kitchen and play three to six carols.

NCTC released the Christmas lights tour map. Winners of the Classic Christmas Award, most creative award, best commercial display and the Clark Griswold Award will be announced Dec. 3.
