Omaha included in latest storm forecast

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., has included portions of southeast Nebraska in the slight risk for severe weather today.

The area includes Chicago, Minneapolis and Omaha.

Thunderstorms are forecast for the upper Midwest later this afternoon and evening. The greatest risk of severe thunderstorms are forecast in northeast Iowa and Wisconsin.

Southeast Nebraska is on the western most part of the slight risk area
