FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports a possession arrest on Tuesday.
A Facebook post says deputies stopped 46-year-old Donald Baxter of Lincoln on a failure to appear warrant from Richardson County. A new methamphetamine charge is expected.
An arrest warrant was issued for Baxter, a former Falls City resident, after he failed to appear in court on May 17 and May 24 on a no proof of insurance citation.
He is also scheduled for a court hearing July 6 after entering a not guilty plea to delivery of methamphetamine on June 13.
Baxter was among four adults arrested when the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a Lane Street residence, where deputies say meth was located.
District Judge Julie Smith overruled a defense motion to suppress the search.
