Education, Realtor Associations Support Palmtag For State Legislature

NEBRASKA CITY – Janet Palmtag announced an endorsement from the Nebraska State Education Association and support from the Nebraska Realtors Association Wednesday.

Palmtag is running for the first district state Legislature with Julie Slama of Peru and Dennis Schaardt of Elk Creek.

Realtors Association Treasurer Connie Burliegh said Palmtag is not only a past president of the association, but has a proven commitment to the association’s causes of private property rights and affordable housing.

A letter from NSEA President Jenni Benson says Palmtag is a recommended candidate for  the 28,000- member association.

Benson: “We are pleased with your leadership and dedication to public education. We are very willing to help with your campaign and be a conduit between you and our members.”
