NEBRASKA CITY – A man arrested for suspicion of hauling marijuana products from an Oregon dispensary into Otoe County has been sentenced to a fine and $10,000 in restitution to the Nebraska Department of Revenue.
The Nebraska State Patrol stopped 64-year-old Lonnie Campbell of Eugene, Ore., on Aug. 2 on Highway 2.
Prosecutors say he had over nine pounds of marijuana, including 13 dispensary bags, and multiple vape pens with THC oil.
Otoe County charges of delivery and possession of marijuana were dropped. Judge Julie Smith sentenced Campbell for attempted failure to affix drug stamp.
