PLATTSMOUTH – Jeffrey Faust, 33, of Plattsmouth is charged in Cass County with first degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 19 on June 28.

County Judge David Partsch sealed the arrest affidavit regarding the case.

Deputy Public Defender Angela Minahan has asked for a hearing regarding pre-trial release. A Jan. 21 hearing is set to review the $250,000 bond.

If convicted, the charge as filed carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
