Dash Through Table Creek Yields Escape Charge

NEBRASKA CITY – An escape charge has been filed in Otoe County against 31-year-old Charles Olson III.

Nebraska City police told the county court that the Talmage man was placed under arrest when he was found in a Park E-Z trailer home on Dec. 12.

Court records say before Olson was handcuffed, he jumped from a porch and ran into a wooded area along South Table Creek.

An officer caught up to Olson as he traveled the creek bed and apprehended him.

A bond hearing is scheduled Dec. 23.
