Falls City Police Say Drug Deal Involved A Minor

FALLS CITY – Falls City police report the break-up Sunday of a marijuana deal involving a minor.
Police responding to Harlan Street on a theft report noticed Michael A. Costa, 27, was a passenger in a vehicle parked nearby.
A police department press release says Costa gave an officer a fake name, but it was determined that Costa was subject of a Kansas arrest warrant.
The press release says an investigation revealed that Costa had met with a minor in order to sell him marijuana.
Costa was booked for suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession with intent to distribute marijuana to a person under the age of 18.
He was also held on a Brown County warrant alleging possession of methamphetamine.
