Villisca man held at Fremont County Jail

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tra Perry, 26, of Villisca, Iowa, on Monday for suspicion of domestic abuse, arson and robbery.

Deputies took a report on Sept. 16 of a vehicle that was stolen near Shenandoah as part of a domestic assault. The vehicle was later found on a rural road near Randolph after it had burned.

Perry is suspected of domestic abuse resulting in injury, arson, criminal mischief, robbery and theft.

He is being held at the Fremont County Jail without bond pending a court appearance.


The Iowa State Fire Marshal’s Office and Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies assisted in the case.
