Dunbar village board recall successful
Recall launched after new paving ordered during seal coat project

DUNBAR - A recall effort for Dunbar Village Board member Terry Weible was successful Tuesday.
In unofficial results, there were 33 votes in favor of removal and 21 votes against in the special election.
The reason stated on the recall petition was that Weible used his office to pave a street in front of his house without a vote of the entire board.
In a statement of defense, Weible said the street repairs were needed to make the village’s sealcoat project effective.
Weible was elected in 2024 with 26 percent of the 155 votes cast.
