FALLS CITY- David Ward, 44, of Humboldt is charged with sexual assault of a child in 2022.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says the Child Advocacy Center interviewed a girl in Missouri who reported a sexual assault at Ward’s Humboldt apartment when she was under 12 years old.

He is also suspected of false imprisonment and child abuse.

A bond of $250,000 was set in Richardson County court.
