Prison ordered on Syracuse meth charge
Nebraska State Patrol searched Fifth Street residence

NEBRASKA CITY- Kellie Bassinger, 31, of Syracuse was sentenced to six to 12 years in prison for possession of over 28 grams of methamphetamine on Jan. 16.
She was also sentenced to four to eight years for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
The Nebraska State Patrol obtained a search warrant for a camper at Second and Mohawk streets and a residence on Fifth Street. Bassinger and 41-year-old Brian Werner were arrested after officers found 186 grams of meth and a semi-automatic handgun.
Werner was sentenced Sept. 15 to six to 12 years for possession of more than 10 grams of meth and four to eight years for delivery.
