Fremont County Fair theme is Dancing with the Steers
Events including baking contest, children's fair, Two County Dusters and corn eating contest
By News Channel NebraskaSIDNEY, IA - The Fremont County Fair is scheduled July 16-21 in Sidney, Iowa, with this year’s theme of Dancing with the Steers.
Fair events include pie baking contest, corn eating contest, barnyard warrior and children’s fair.
The horse show begins at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 17. The fair queen coronation is at 5 p.m.
Friday events including the swine, sheep and goat shows.
On Saturday, beef, rabbit and poultry shows are scheduled. Presentation of awards is at 5:45 p.m. The 4-H cherry pie auction follows at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday events include the dog show, cat show, livestock judging and round robin showmanship. The Two County Dusters Drill Team is scheduled Sunday, July 20, at 4:30 p.m.
