Pedestrian fatality reported in Fremont County

 SIDNEY, AI -  The Iowa State Patrol reports a pedestrian fatality on Interstate 29 in Fremont County early Saturday morning.

The pedestrian, 46-year-old David Lindsey McClean of Kansas City went onto a northbound traffic lane and was struck by a truck and semi-trailer driven by 63-year-old Ken Hermann of Norfolk.

Hermann was uninjured. The state patrol report says investigators do not know why McClean was on the roadway.
