PLATTSMOUTH - A probation term was ordered in Cass County court after a motorcyclist from Auburn was killed in a crash on Highway 75 on Sept. 7.

Zachariah Unruh, age 30, died following a head-on collision with a SUV driven by 56-year-old Shelly Hayes of Omaha.

A sheriff’s office report says Hayes attempted to turn into a driveway and turned into the path of the motorcycle. She is sentenced to two years of probation, one year without a driver's license and 20 hours of community service.
