Syracuse Rescue setting call records
Squad answers 249 911 calls
SYRACUSE – The Syracuse Rescue Squad has set a new record with minimal staff.
As of Nov. 3, the squad has surpassed its previous record of 360 calls, and anticipates another 40 to 50 by the end of the year.
Rescue crews answered 249 (911) calls. There were 151 transfers and seven standbys.
The rescue squad continues to report critical staffing levels and is actively seeking members.
