Germanfest hosts pickleball tournament
New courts at Williams Park in Syracuse

SYRACUSE - Part of 2024 Germanfest activities included a pickleball tournament.
Participants came as far as Omaha to compete in co-ed, women’s and men’s brackets.
Coed bracket finals included Ron & Diane Hawkins against Collen and Zack Carpenter. The Hawkins team came up on top.
The women's bracket included Meredith Clark and Baillee Walnofer against Lauren and Crosby Fries. Clark and Walnofer were the winners.
In the men's bracket Brock Lohr and Jared Knapp from Beatrice went up against Scott Schendt and Dan DIederich from the Omaha/Bellevue area. Brock and Jared finished first.
Pickleball court is located at the corner of 11th Street and Chestnut in Williams Park,
