Adopt an Intersection for Trail of Treats

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce is asking local businesses and organizations to adopt an intersection to promote safety at the annual Trail of Treats from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.

NCTC Director Amy Allgood said the popularity of the event has also increased the need for volunteers to keep children safe.

She said adopting an intersection allows businesses and organizations away from the trail route to participate by dressing up and monitoring crosswalks. She said there is also room along Central Avenue for more Trail of Treats participants.
