PLATTSMOUTH, NE - After splitting two regular season games, the Plattsmouth Blue Devils dominated the third contest against Nebraska City in playoff action Monday, eliminating the Pioneers, 67-34. Plattsmouth took a 14-8 lead into the second stanza, and really put things away before the break thanks to a 20-4 second quarter as they built a 34-12 lead by recess. Twelve different Blue Devils scored for the host team, including seven different girls hitting three-pointers. Plattsmouth also added in 13/21 at the free throw line. Averi Winters dropped in a team-high eleven points, while Mila Wehrbein hit for ten. Nebraska City was 10/18 at the charity stripe and had six different scorers. Leading the team with nine points each were Tarryn Godsey & Makensie Briley. Plattsmouth advances to the Subdistrict B-2 title game at Waverly Tuesday night.
