A 64-year-old man died in a car vs pedestrian collision in Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 64-year-old man died in a car vs pedestrian collision in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the area of 27th St. and Old Dairy Road at 7:15 p.m. on Friday for a report of a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle.
Officers said they found a 64-year-old Lincoln man with life-threatening injuries. The man was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
According to authorities, the identity of the man has not been released at this time as family is still being notified.
