Sheriff reports pedestrian fatality

HAMBURG - The Fremont County Sheriffs’ Office reports a fatality pedestrian accident in Hamburg on Thursday.

A sheriff’s office press release says a 77-year-old Hamburg resident was carrying items to his vehicle from a local community center and was struck by a passing vehicle near the intersection of Main and E streets.

The driver of a 2001 Ford F150 was identified as 77-year-old Nancy Bartles of Rock Port, Mo. Bartles was uninjured.

Hamburg Fire and Rescue responded to the call.
