Winter weather watch for River Country

 NEBRASKA CITY - Blizzard warnings have been issued for over 30 Nebraska counties through Dec. 27 and winter storm watches for southeast Nebraska.

A watched issued Sunday morning impacts Cass, Johnson and Otoe counties through late Tuesday night.

Heavy mixed precipitation is possible with snow and sleet accumulation of two to nine inches. Wind gusts of 45 mph are expected.

The Nebraska City Airport reports 56 degrees Sunday, but cooler temperatures are forecast as the afternoon progresses.
