NEBRASKA CITY - Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident with airbag deployment on Highway 2 and East Fourth Corso at Nebraska  City on Friday morning.

A sheriff’s office accident report says a Buick driven by 63-year-old Craig Peters of Glenwood, Iowa, had just crossed the Missouri River bridge when a Nissan driven by 86-year-old Patsy Hume of Thurman, Iowa, pulled into the traffic lane attempting to turn left into Iowa.

Nebraska City Fire and Rescue transported Peters and Hume, as well as three-year-old Lottie Jo Hume to CHI Health St. Mary’s.

The accident report says Hume failed to yield right of way.
