'Toxic algae' fouling Nebraska lakes, raising water quality concerns

Since 2005, dozens of Nebraska lakes have experienced unhealthy amounts of a toxic bacteria, often referred to as toxic algae. Scientists say we lack sufficient data to determine if outbreaks are becoming more frequent.
