AppleJack Fun Run underway

The AppleJack 5K run and Walk got underway Saturday morning at Steinhart Park.

Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi uses proceeds from the event to benefit the community. In the past, the sorority has donated to Nebraska City’s Edge Program, helped fund the One School, One Book literacy push, purchased a new lighted holiday banner to hang over Fourth Corso and provided thousands in scholarship dollars.

The route goes through Steinhart Park and Arbor Lodge State Park before returning to Steinhart.
