Miss Nehawka named Cass County fair queen

WEEPING WATER – Ali Gansemer was named the 2023 Miss Cass County Queen at the Cass County Fair Wednesday. Ava Culver is the princess.
Gansemer is Miss Nehawka and a recent graduate of Conestoga High School. Her activities included basketball, softball, guitar and cheerleading. She plans to attend South Dakota State and major in nursing.

Culver is Miss South Bend and a recent graduate of Louisville High School. She plans to attend Wayne State college and major in elementary and special education.
2022 Fair Queen Josie Cave and Princess Sela Rikli led the 11 candidates into the open air auditorium for a question and answers series and final judging.
