PERU, NE - Former Peru State men's basketball player Lorenzo Anderson has signed a professional contract with Irbis Almatay in Kazakhstan for the upcoming season.
Anderson was instrumental in Peru State men's basketball run to the NAIA National Tournament a season ago. He played in all 33 games starting in 28 for the Bobcats. Anderson averaged 15.7 points per game shooting 46.6% from the field, 33.3% from beyond the arc and 72.2% from the free throw line.
He grabbed 3.1 rebounds per game, dished out 1.8 assists and had 1.5 steals per game.

Anderson was named Second Team All-Conference for his play in the Heart during the 2022-23 season.
