OMAHA - A heat advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. today until 9 p.m. on Thursday.

A heat index value up to 107 is expected in portions of southeast Nebraska, including the cities of Lincoln, Bellevue, Nebraska City, Beatrice, Auburn and Falls City.

Low temperatures each night are expected to be in the lower to mid 70s. The warmest days are expected to Wednesday and Thursday.
